We have provisionally reserved a number of rooms for delegates in local hotels and guesthouses at specially negotiated rates.

When calling the hotel / guesthouse, please tell them that you are attending the ISD2007 conference. Otherwise, they may inadvertently advise you that they have no vacancies, when in fact a number of rooms are provisionally reserved for ISD2007 delegates.

You must contact these establishments directly to make your own accommodation arrangements. Please note that rooms can be difficult to find in Galway during August (it is peak season for tourism), so we advise that you book your room well in advance.

Should you wish to stay for longer than the conference, we recommend that you arrange this well in advance. Galway is a vibrant city and rooms may be hard to find at short notice during peak summer season.
